Serengeti Kamwene Tented Camp is set in unique, quiet and natural area in Central Serengeti just 24 km from Seronera Air Strip and it is just 15-20 minutes’ drive. Your travel to the Camp is another game drive as on your way you will meet most species of wild animals. We are striving to make our guests to feel at home by creating a warm and friendly atmosphere in our camp.
The camp relies on solar energy for power and hot water with backup generator which is solely used to keep the lights in case cloud weather. There are 6 tents in all. It is the most luxurious and undoubtedly the enjoyable tents in Serengeti.
The furniture and accessories have been selected for their opulent appearance and modern safari style. Modern conveniences and excellent amenities, such as internet access, hot showers and many more. It also forms part of immigration site where a lot of zebra, wildebeest and others will be seen from the camp during immigration period/season.
The Company is owned by Tanzanian having an experience of more than six years in tourism industry. We are managing different properties to include Mikumi Luxury Tented Camp , Royal Crown Hotel and Selous Mtagalala lodge which have been temporarily closed for periodical maintenance. This Camp has been established as response to President’s initiative in promoting tourism services in Tanzania for boosting our economy .Our Camp is located in neighborhood with Serengeti Heritage Camp site, Tanzania Bush Camp and the former Mbugani Camp Site in Tunner 2
